There’s no better way to view the stunning Jurassic Coast than from the water. Sit back and relax and take in the glorious scenery of the 185 million-year-old geological masterpiece. Whether you are on holiday or live locally, our sightseeing boat trip is the perfect way to see the fossil rich World Heritage Site from its best vantage point. You may even be lucky enough to encounter some dolphins or a seal during a trip!
Our one hour sightseeing cruises depart from Lyme Regis harbour, we then venture into Devon with great views of the coastline of Ware Cliffs, Chippel Bay and Pinhay Bay. We then head back along a stretch of the Dorset coast with fantastic panoramas of Charmouth, Stonebarrow, Black Ven and Golden Cap with views across to West Bay, Burton Bradstock and Portland.
With live commentary from the skipper, you’ll be provided with interesting insights into local fishing, history, smuggling, shipwrecks and more.
We run one hour sightseeing trips throughout the day.
Sightseeing cruises depart at 12noon, 2.15pm & 4.30pm. During busy periods additional trips may run. You can also join one of the mackerel boat trips and just take in the views rather than fish if you prefer. All trips are dependent on sea and weather conditions.
Sightseeing trips are £15 per person for one hour.
£95 per hour to private charter one of our boats.
All our boat trips leave from Victoria Pier at the end of the Cobb in Lyme Regis. Find your way to the harbour then walk along the harbour wall past Lyme Regis Marine Aquarium and the Fishing College.
